Important information
-
For your own security it is important to take only professional advice from seeing a health professional in person and to be transparent with your medical history. It is wise to not follow unsolicited advice that is not specifically aimed at you. Please seek professional advice one on one for more accurate assessment of your unique situation.
-
It is advisable that if you have any serious conditions, that you see your medical practitioner first and see if a naturopath is for you. There are some instances where only a doctor can assist. If you choose to see a naturopath then make sure you are transparent with your medical history including allergies, for your own safety to avoid herb/drug interactions. You are taking a risk if you don't disclose fully.
Being a naturopath, we are limited to certain conditions and cannot claim to cure or heal, only to assist in wellbeing. We treat the person, not the disease. If you have diabetes, cancer, heart diseases then see your doctor prior.
-
To work with me, your naturopath, you need to be totally honest and transparent about all your conditions, past and present, and medications. When prescribing practitioner only products I appreciate compliance because if you do not then you may not see results. We can work around what you will be happy to take but it is important to take what is prescribed to see improvement.
-
If there are, on rare occasions, any adverse reactions please notify me straight away so that I can give you instructions and to report to TGA. It cannot be guaranteed that what is prescribed will be right for you and if it is not a good fit, or is not working, then it may need adjusting. The process the naturopath takes is one of ongoing education and diet and lifestyle advice over weeks or months and may be ongoing as a lifestyle change. Patience is needed for a holistic outcome which improves your wellbeing. There is no one pill fix it solution and needs commitment from you to work with your naturopath. So, do not give up.
-
Naturopathy is no substitute in serious conditions, for a medical doctor. If you have chest pains or any other serious condition that needs acute care, please see your doctor or go to emergency. It is not counselling nor coaching.
-
If any concerns should arise with your mental health you should seek advice from a mental health professional.
Suitability
-
My ideal client is someone who needs help with their overall health and wellbeing and wishes to improve their health. They may have complaints that need seeing to and help with nutrition, lifestyle and/or herbal medicines and nutrients. Those dealing with stress and gut issues, inflammation, indigestion, autoimmune, fatigue amongst other things. Someone who maybe feels that natural medicine is the way to go in working back towards better health.
-
If you have any serious conditions from heart issues and diabetes through to severe mental health, it is advisable that you see your medical practitioner. These may be out of the scope of a naturopath. If you have severe pain, then go to your emergency.

Security policy
At this point I do not use Paypal, credit card payments or other means of payments other than cash or bank deposit. So, no credit card details will be taken.
Payment terms
I require payment on the day for my services. For products via the supplier’s portal then payment is made through the portal when accessed. If buying herbal medicines from me then payment on the day.
Payment plans
If in financial hardship, then a payment plan may be mutually agreed upon. This may be weekly, fortnightly or monthly given and dependent on their pay cycles.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery
I am an online Naturopath. If you have booked a consult with me then you need to provide a safe, private and quiet space where we won't be interrupted for up to an hour. I do Facetime or Zoom meetings. For this you will need to download the free version of Zoom and a link will be sent to you via email that you just click on at the agreed time. It is a secure way to use. You may be asked to keep a diary of food you have eaten to help in the consult. I also can do follow up consults via phone or video call on your mobile. I will call you at a prearranged time that is mutually beneficial to both of us.
Shipping
Practitioner only products may be ordered online for you, either by myself or a link will be sent to you for you to purchase prescribed products. The time for transit depends on the supplier chosen and their policy. They may be local or interstate. However, express postage may be used and again that is subject to the supplier chosen in cases of urgent need.
Products are delivered from suppliers. This will be arranged once you have had your consult if needed.
Appointment Policies
Appointments
A $30 deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve your consultation. If you do not show up for the appointment this deposit will be forfeit unless due to emergency circumstances beyond your control. Please contact me as soon as possible to explain your situation. If you need to reschedule your appointment, please give me at least 24 hours’ notice to arrange a new time and transfer the fee across. At least 24 hours’ notice is also required to cancel your appointment and request a refund. If I am unable to attend the appointment, I shall contact you to rebook as soon as possible.
Refund Policy & Consumer Guarantees
Change of mind
I do not offer a refund for change of mind for my client consultations, so I encourage you to consider carefully whether this service is right for you before you make your booking.
With regards to workshops or programs I offer partial refund to clients who change their mind within 14 days of payment. 30% of your payment will be retained to cover costs of administration and preparation on my part. The rest will be refunded.
Minor problems
Minor problems may be internet connections being lost. Technical issues such as power outages. Efforts to reconnect will be done or a need to reschedule.
Other problems may be car troubles for either myself or the other party so the meeting may have to be postponed and rescheduled or another way found to perform the meeting (eg. phone).
Major problems
For example, a major problem an example could be a bad reaction to a medicine prescribed. The medicine that is prescribed by me, but supplied through an industry supplier. If the substance is causing an allergic reaction then report back to myself to change the formula or I will contact the TGA if the reaction is unusual for the indications in case there is an issue with the medicine itself. Or the wrong medicine sent.
Full transparency in the initial and follow up consults of known allergies to medicines and substances for correct prescribing.
Hopefully, through discussion an agreement can be met, and the problem solved. If, however, the client is not happy with my services and through reasonable discussion and/or mediation then a refund can be made via bank transfer.
For medicines that are faulty, a refund from the supplier may be needed. If the remedy is not right for that client then a replacement will be provided if desired and a refund from me for said medicine if the fault is mine.
If a designated meeting is postponed, either from my fault or the client's, then a rescheduling will be agreed upon and monies transferred to that appointment from original.
Invitation to discuss problem
If you feel that there is any problem with my services, please let me know within 7 days. I would rather know that you are unhappy so that I can address your concerns and try to find a mutually acceptable solution.
Limitation of liability
I take my obligations under Australian Consumer Law seriously and am keen to hear if you have any problems. However, if there is a problem, my liability is strictly limited to:
• replacing the goods or providing the services again; or
• if I am unable to do so within a reasonable time, paying the cost of having the relevant goods or services supplied to you again.
Replacement products
Products are ordered via a supplier. If the client has a need to return a product it will be via this supplier(s).
Specific terms of sale
The products prescribed are for therapeutic purposes only and for the client that is seen only. No one else may use these products. They should not be misused, and the user should follow the directions given by the therapist. The medicines may take time to take effect and so should be taken as directed for best results.
